Network Engineer - Singapore
Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain existing Unix based infrastructure and services server pool
Constantly review and optimise existing infrastructure architecture and operations
Provide Level 1/2 technical support and troubleshooting
Develop and enhance both in-house and third party tools and web services
Provide inputs to the Solutions and Product Team
Technical evaluation of new products and services
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Computer Science
Min 3 years of experience in operations and maintenance of a Unix based setup
Basic knowledge with MySQL and general RDBMS concepts.
Expect (a type of scripting language) is desirable.
Experience in a Unix centric environment, specifically in Debian, RedHat and Solaris.
Strong technical knowledge and concept in Radius, Email, LDAP, DNS, SNMP, Web, Proxy and SAN.
Strong networking concept and the OSI model.
Ability to manage and maintain Unix Server based machines in a large scale.
Proficient with shell and PERL scripting and C.
Proficient with CGI and PHP programming.
Exceptional time-management and multi-tasking
Good team player and is able to provide guidance to junior engineers
Have a can-do attitude
