Web Developer-फिलीपींस
Responsibilities:
Our website is mostly comprised of ASPX pages, which are part and parcel of the DotNetNuke portal. This is using .Net 2.0 and 2.0 frameworks and controls as the building blocks, but web apps built in C#, VB.Net, Java, Flash and plain old ASP are also incorporated, since it is basically a "mash –up" style site, which affords one maximum flexibility. The overall underlying technology is similar to that used for Sharepoint Web Portals. We also incorporate some HTML, which is very basic language, but good for setting up phones list etc. These are usually called via iFrame modules within the portal or in some cases as direct links to external pages from hyperlinks within the portal. We also have a good number of third party apps, which provide specialized functionality (for instance, the help desk, FAQ, AQL reporting Services Control Module etc.). All of these are built specially to work with DotNetNuke and most importantly, its security schemes.
Specifically, we are looking for a Web Developer who will be able to develop ASPX pages vs. only PHP; ASPX or HTML pages and Portal page code. Our portal is designed specifically to allow a working team to add their own content ("Content Management System" or "CMS"). The portal provides the framework and some uniformity to the look of things, plus of course, the security scheme for setting access by roles, so that the web developer will also be expected to do some basic tutoring that will need to bring the Manila Team up to speed. The best ultimate goal is to have people who can all do content creation and proper formatting eventually.
