General Manager-Malaysia

Responsibilities:

Oversee the operations and business performance/profitability of our Food Court and F&B business
Sustain and spearhead the growth, expansion and profitability of the Food Courts and F&B operations
Work closely and support the Senior Vice President (Singapore) in strategic planning and execution of the F&B business and future growth
Define, establish developmental strategies and monitoring industry trends
Develop a professional team, framework and key performance indicators to manage the F&B network
Responsible for staff training, recruitment, discipline, welfare, presentation and overall job performance
Prospect and conduct feasibility studies to develop potential new sites for future growth and new establishments
Develop and sustain the competencies, standards and best practices’ systems for the local retail network
Ensure customer feedback and complaints are properly dealt with
Ensure the compliance and alignment of contractual terms / obligations, quality system from our franchisees to align with our standards and corporate identity
Collaborate with business partners and ensure resources support in the area of talent resourcing, training & development, branding, sales & marketing promotions, business development and continuity planning for operations
Monitor and enhance account receivables, contractual obligations and administration for F&B network
Maintain and sustain existing and potential business partners collaboration to understand and satisfy their continual needs and requirements

Requirements:

A Degree/Diploma in Business Administration/Hotel Management or equivalent professional qualifications. A Masters Degree in Business Administration would be advantageous
Minimum 5 years relevant experience in up market Chinese Restaurant, Hotel and/or F&B Industries with at least 3 years Managerial position
A strong knowledge and understanding of the service, F&B industry are critical pre-requisites
Strong sense of business acumen and foresight in seeking out new business opportunities
A analytical mindset, creativity and a keen sense of innovation
Mature with strong leadership, initiative and creativity
Excellent communication, business networking, negotiation and presentational skills are critical pre-requisites
Fluent in English, Mandarin and other languages are essential
Strong team player with motivational and customer centric aptitude and attitude whilst being highly autonomous are highly regarded attributes
Ability to thrive in a fast-pace business environment with a strong desire to excel and ability to meet business goals and milestones
Confident in working with all levels of management, business partners and the board of management
An Entrepreneur spirit with a strong desire to be part of our high growth and development efforts
Willing to travel with the possibility of future regional relocation
