Technical Support Engineer-Philippines
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Maintains accurate technical format of all technical documents related to Gas Mechanical products• Assists in the development and maintenance of Account’s documentation database• Generates new technical documentation specifications• Revises existing technical drawings• Provide technical assistance to all Daniel employees needing technical drawings, documentation and information regarding Account’s products• Performs customer service assistance to product application personnel• Interprets technical documentation to applications, sales, manufacturing, and procurement departments within the company• Maintains a log of all requests for assistance pertaining to technical documentation of our product• Attends and participates in technical documentation organizations and societies to remain abreast of current trends in the industry• Maintains a thorough understanding of our documentation control software and its requirements as they relate to our product• Maintains a thorough understanding of geographically specific technical documentation requirements as they relate to our product• Identifies and coordinates outside engineering contract companies to perform drafting and design on product assemblies and/or components• Deliver weekly reports to Engineering Manager or person designated by the Engineering Manager• Performs other tasks as required and as assigned from time to time
REQUIREMENTS:
• Must have a degree in Mechanical Engineering• Must have good knowledge and use of AutoCAD• Preferably with experience in the manufacturing environment• Must be proficient in the English language, both oral and written
