Assistant Manager Procurement-Kuala Lumpur-Malaysia

Responsibilities:

Incorporate work groups into respective project(s)
Identify mitigating factors, triggers points and options
Control all documentations which related to BQ, specifications, quality standard and etc.
Monitoring all the procurement plans and action such as review shortlist suppliers, review response, check MOF registration, identify relevant vendors and etc.
Monitoring bidding plan, such as bidders list, bidding result and etc.

Job Summary:

Continuous updating and manage data base
Prepared, monitor, review production schedule and update in accordance with delivery schedules.
Constantly in coordination with Trading, suppliers and Opus on pre-delivery inspection and certification.
Contribute towards forward planning on materials requirement and revenue forecast
Contribute towards structuring pricing and margin strategy
Implement towards vendor development, market development and project news
Establish and maintain good PR and good corporate governance with stakeholders

Requirements:

Degree or equivalent professional qualification in engineering/quantity surveying/architecture
3-7 years of related experiences preferably in procurement and trading area
working experience in building and construction procurement and /or trading, Quantity Surveying
Must have negotiation skills and able to communicate within the trading area
Proficient in IT and able to prepare analysis and reports
