IT Executive - Networks - Malaysia

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Network Manager, the incumbent will assist to manage the daily routine operations of the department, provide network and systems support, responsible to develop business continuity procedures and assist in disaster recovery planning, provide direct IT support to students and staff at campus and promote the efficient use of IT facilities and technology within the University. He/She is responsible for the provision and ongoing performance of all IT infrastructure of the University.

Requirements:

•A Diploma / Bachelor Degree in Information Technology or its equivalent.
•Technical certifications will be an added advantage.
•Preferably with 1 - 2 years of relevant working experience with enterprise IT
infrastructure.
•Experience working with routers, layer 2 & 3 switches and wireless AP.
•Understands fundamentals of routing and network protocol.
•Knowledge of CISCO IOS is an added advantage.
•Sound knowledge of Windows/Linux server environment is an added advantage.
•Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
•Good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills in English.
